Basic Gameplay Info

Quidditch is a mixed gender, full contact sport with a unique mix of elements from rugby, dodgeball, handball and tag. A quidditch team is made up of seven athletes who play with brooms between their legs at all times.

Gender Rule

During a seeker floor (which is the first 18 minutes of a quidditch game during regulation time and the first 30 seconds of overtime), a team may not have more than four players who identify as the same gender in play. Upon the expiration of the seeker floor (which is when seekers are released) and for the entirety of any second overtime period, a team may not have more than five players who identify as the same gender in play for the remainder of the period.
